Meet Dela
Dela Michel is a seasoned Ghanaian journalist, radio and TV presenter with over eight years of experience.
Throughout her career, she has built strong connections with her audience both in Ghana and abroad, acting as a bridge between her programs and the people they serve. Her excellence in news delivery, analysis, and reporting has earned her multiple awards and recognition locally and internationally.
As an astute professional, Dela is breaking barriers and helping to grow and position organizations that contribute to the economy, culture, tourism, and more. By delivering relevant news and content, she plays a pivotal role in shaping narratives. Her extensive travels have exposed her to diverse cultures, fueling her determination to explore further and shine a spotlight on the African continent.
In addition to her media work, Dela Michel is a renowned voiceover artist with over ten years of experience. She is also an accomplished event moderator and producer, known for her passion for teamwork and her belief that everyone has a platform worth discovering and excelling in.
Dela is currently a member of Voices of Africa, an organization that fosters relationships between African diaspora women and the world. She is also a member of the Washington Association of Black Journalists.
Currently pursuing her graduate studies in Strategic Communications at the University of Maryland, Dela also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from Zenith University, Ghana.
